   This issue of the CD can be distinguished from later versions of Repeater + 3 Songs by the following: 1) CD price is listed as $ postpaid on the back cover (as opposed to $ or $ on later releases) 2) Item is listed as made in France on back cover and CD /5().

   13 Songs CD music MacKaye manages to be charismatic and confrontational at the same time: tossing brilliant, genuinely funny asides into his serious-as-a- heart-attack lyrics. This Washington, D.C., quartet hit harder, faster, and franker than just about anybody--and were willing to see through their own bull as quickly as anyone else's.

   Apr 14,  · This is the only album in Fugazi’s discog to feature a song with all 3 of the band’s vocalists on. That song is “Oh”. The album took longer to write & record than previous efforts and the band experimented with various recording techniques & incorporated other instruments, such as piano and cello into a number of songs.

   At-The Drive In, GAD, The Blood Brothers (hey, Guy produced their last album), all of these bands took something from Fugazi. Repeater + 3 Songs is perhaps their strongest work, a great blend of youthful energy, impassioned vocals, thoughtful lyrics, abrasive noise rock, a groovin' rhythm section, and truly inspired songwriting/5(85).

   The 3 Songs EP was initially released as part of Sub Pop's Singles Club, and was eventually re-released on Dischord as a 7" and tacked on to the CD version of Repeater. "Song #1" actually sounds like a Minor Threat song in its directness, doing what it can to make things like records, haircuts, and the thoughts of others seem meaningless in the grand scheme of things -- "Life is what you want.
